I LOVE this jacket from FM! The fit/ cut is near perfect and the color (black/ olive) is awesome. The Villain, in olive, is not of their thicker leather, but I knew this going in. It still feels like a good quality jacket that will last a long time and wear and age well. I went with a small. I am 5’9”, 160-165 lbs, approx. 40” chest, and wear size 30-31 pants, so I prefer a large taper from chest to sweep, and this jacket has it, 6”! It has a removable liner. With the liner in, you could still fit something more substantial than a t-shirt, probably up to a hoodie, and be just fine. With the liner removed…nothing to concern yourself with at all. Looking forward to “patching it up” as soon as I can! Also ordered a Lowrider vest that is on the way!
… if you want quality, a good fit and a distinctive moto jacket. It is the perfect balance between function and style. Whether you are chillin’ with a cup of joe at a cafe or ripping it on the interstate, the Villain has got you covered.
This Jacket fits well and appears to be of good quality. Shipping was a little slow and if you are Canadian get ready to bend over for Taxes and Duty $$$$$$$
1a Qualität, super Passform. Das ist meine neue Lieblingsjacke.
Great leather - great fit - top quality
I’m 5’11, 195lbs athletic build - and the large was perfect.
A good looking jacket for on or off the bike. Warm when you want with plenty of air flow when you need. High quality soft leather that smells great and doesn't restrict movement.
Cc pockets will not hold snub nosed revolvers.
I'm 5'6" 135lbs, 30" waist and the XS fits almost tailored.
First off, I'm 6'1" at 205 lbs, a slim build. Everything I wear is large. I wear large t-shirts, large flannels, large jackets, large denim vests, large sweatpants, etc. I ordered a large and let me say, it's like it's tailor made. I don't like baggy fit so things have to be slim looking on me. This jacket in a 'large' is just that. The sleeve/shoulder seam is where it needs to be, the sleeves are just below my wrists wear they belong. Not discrediting their sizing guide. But if I followed the guide, I would order a 'medium', I'm glad I trusted my gut and ordered 'large'.
This jacket is soft, comfortable, smells amazing, the liner is warm but with the liner out the jacket breathes really well, I have been wearing it around in the 73 degree house to help the break in and I've not felt too warm at all. The color is great, the details are fantastic.
One thing I'm not a fan of is the elastic for the concealed carry pockets. Glocks don't go in there. I guess a 1911 or revolver could work, but I don't own those because I'm not 75 years old. If I could suggest a change to the conceal pockets, I'd recommend loop velcro instead. Lots of companies make velcro equipped holsters for common firearms, that'd be a safe option. The elastic triangle tube thing just doesn't seem to do it for me with my Glocks (19 and 43)
Regardless, this jacket is bitchin and I'm extremely glad I got it.
Well done First MFG!
Before purchase, the Customer Service team helped me out with some measurement info that proved to be spot on. Opted to purchase directly here instead of on Revzilla, partly due to this interaction and partly because of the free set of armor provided.
Jacket fits well other than a slight shortness at the wrist, but that's on me. Included thermal liner is great. Seems to flow air well, no glaring issues with construction. I imagine the jacket will loosen up and fit even better with time.
