Lowside Men's Motorcycle Canvas Vest

I ordered this vest in Size Large. I have a 40" Chest, flat belly, and my height is 5' 8". I have long legs (32" inseam) and a short torso. The hemline of the vest comes very slightly below the top of my belt buckle exposing most of my belt line. This is a perfect "club style" fit out of the package. I love the leather vests from First MFG: however, the hem always comes below the belt line which is too long for a proper "club style" fit.

The heavy canvas feels like it will last a long time. The material reminds me of the Army shelter half I was issued years ago. This is also the first vest I have found that is a perfect fit without tailoring.

If your instincts are telling you to order one size up, listen to that feeling.

I highly recommend this vest to anyone looking for a club style fit.

Love the bottom hemline on this vest. Just roomy enough to not squeeze my gut and still stay put. First ride with this was from San Diego to Yosemite in June 2024. It was super hot some of the way and I’m a walking furnace which sucked a bit, BUT…..all I had to do was stop at a self-car wash and soak it in water and boom - instant air conditioned ride. Took about 40min to dry in 95-100° heat but just rinse/repeat. The canvas held water well enough to make me incredibly comfortable. I will say that the upper chest/ neck could use a bit of tailoring - there’s more room than I need but I suppose it’d suit well to a more barrel chested rider. Overall a perfect 3 season vest and will def. Be purchasing a mesh vest from First MFG. for summer riding.
