I was looking for a lighter weight riding jacket with options for colder Texas weather. After searching for some time and sorting through many reviews, I stumbled upon this jacket. The fact that this item is listed with some of your more popular online motorcycling clothiers says something all by itself. Given the price (with military discount), I was a little skeptical about the quality. Needless to say, I was not disappointed - this is a quality jacket! I actually like it more than my Schott Perfecto 618. For starters, it is much lighter than the Perfecto and it has a removable liner so you can adjust for different weather conditions/temperatures. Next, the leather is more supple. It would take years (and plenty of conditioner) to get the Perfecto broken in to the same level. This is not to say that the Perfecto isn't a quality jacket - it is. But for a price that is more than $900+ for this jacket......it should be. Finally, the fit is awesome and on point. I'm 5'6 @ 185lbs and went with the medium. The jacket (with liner) fits snug.... not tight or restricting and I can opt to switch out the liner with a hoodie if I choose to do so and maintain the same fit. The sleeves fall exactly where they need to whether I am in a standing or riding position. The bottom edge falls just below my belt line, which is where I like it. Very nice jacket. I’ve owned many leather jackets from different brands. This is definitely a nice jacket in that sweet spot price point. For reference I went with a medium. I’m 5’9 175 lbs. I probably could have gotten away with small but I wanted the option to layer a hoodie under for warmer rides. Fits great and looks great. Very heavy and looks to be made very well. However the only thing I’ll say is the belt seems to be very long but I don’t plan on using it anyway. Glad it can be removed.
I ordered this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! We have been searching for 2 years to find a replacement for one he bought 22 years ago that has been well loved. He was excited to get it and has been wearing it everywhere.
I’ve only had it for a few days, but it really does seem to be well made. The leather is heavy and butter soft.
Favorite jacket for riding under a cut or to wear solo. At 6’4 270 it fits comfortably and with the liner it gets hot quickly in 40 degree weather. I like the full belt and it has the conceal carry pockets. It doesn’t weigh you down like most of these style jackets tend to.
The jacket came quickly and seems to be made well. However, it fits strangely, like it’s not cut right. Unfortunately, I’d already put a couple of pins in it before some friends pointed out how wonky this jacket is, so I’m stuck with it.

This is my fourth purchase from first mfg and just as the rest I am super happy with the jacket. Quality is top notch and it looks fantastic on. Customer service is amazing as well. I was that annoying customer that emailed multiple times and got an answer to all my questions. Will be buying all my motorcycle leather from first mfg.
