Nomad Chaps - Unisex

I had a trip planned last October to Tellico Plains. It was gonna be cool all three days and I thought I would finally add a pair of Chaps to my arsenal! I found a store that had these in stock so that I could check them out and try them on for size. I had never owned or even worn a pair of Chaps in my life. When I pick the Chaps up I look them all over and I dont immediately notice how to even put them on. So I hold on to them, occasionally fooling with them trying to figure it out and if someone walks by I stop and just pretend to be browsing. Finally the lady at the store comes over and I play it off for a bit and finally I just tell her. The sad part is between the both of us neither knew how to put these Chaps on. We try and try and apparently I am trying to wrap the leg the opposite way! Once we realize this, it’s a breeze and we both feel stupid! So my size is a perfect fit and I make the purchase! The Chaps seem well made and they did what I wanted to do plus I felt kinda cool and silly at the same time wearing them! The price was right as well. Overall extremely satisfied with my purchase and plan one day to upgrade my current leather jacket with a First Manufacturing jacket. The lady at Handleys Boot and Western Wear was great and was extremely proud that they carried this brand. She had nothing but good things to say about First Manufacturing!

I purchased the Nomad chaps December 2019 after freezing on a 6hr ride. They arrived quickly and quality was top notch. I put around 20k on them before wrecking this past memorial day. The chaps did their job well and protected me when I slid across the road and into a ditch full of granite boulders. Unfortunately, medics cut them off of me so they had to be retired. I'm replacing them with another pair of FirstMfg chaps, the updated Patriot.
