  • 12oz Black Twill
  • True over shirt - order same size as your T-shirt for true fit or order up to layer

    Comfortable and Stylish

I’ve only worn this shirt a couple of times, but I’m really happy with the look, fit, and comfort. The outer material is different than I expected. I thought it would be closer to denim but it’s almost more of a corduroy feel. I guess that’s the “twill”, which I suppose I should have known. It’s very flexible and the inside liner is soft and comfortable. Pockets are roomy. As another reviewer mentioned, it’s definitely not a SoCal summer jacket, although it is light and the armpit vents work pretty well. Probably better if you have a cruiser with apes. It did not come with armor. For some reason I thought it did, but that was ok for me because I had plenty from other jackets that would fit.

Fit/sizing is always what I care about most in a review, so I’m a little over 5’7”, 162 lbs., 41” chest with a somewhat athletic build and the medium fits perfect. I think I’ll be able to layer a hoodie. It’s a little long on me but I expected that with this style. My only complaint about First in general is the inconsistent sizing. I have one of their leather jackets in a small and honestly probably could fit into an extra small, but I have one of their hoodies in small and it’s super tight on my waist. So I was a bit wary of the size guide on this one.

    Overall would definitely recommend.

    Very nice 👍

I am 6’0” and 235lbs. I purchased a size XL and it fits great. However with a hoodie underneath it’s a bit bunched up and tight. It’s great with a long sleeve tshirt or a regular tshirt so size up if you’re looking to layer up. Would recommend for 50* and up (without being able to layer underneath). Probably would be fine in lower temps if you sized accordingly to layer. Material feels great and zippers and snaps work with one hand. Lots of pockets for storage.

    Outstanding

The fit & finish of this shirt is spot on perfect. I'm 6" 230 48" chest and the XL fits like a glove, the sleeves are the perfect length on or off the bike.

    Awesome!

I tried it on as soon as I received it, and it fits and looks great. This riding shirt is made well. It is warm and probably not the greatest for hot weather, but I have yet to wear it in hot weather. My wife approves and loves the look. I definitely recommend the Dagger Motorcycle Twill riding shirt!

    Great shirt jac, except…

Great shirt jac, except it was ripped on the inside seam when I got it. Disappointed because the quality of material is stupendous for the price, but not so sure about the stitching seeing as it ripped or possibly wasn’t finished being put together before I even used it. Haven’t used it yet because I’m afraid of something happens, the seams will just fall apart.

    Well Built, looks great

This shirt jacket leans much heavier on the latter half of its name, with Kevlar-reinforced shoulder/elbows and a thick (thick) flannel liner. I, a moron, thought that this would be a good Los Angeles summer riding jacket. Despite being sorely mistaken, I'm still super impressed with the build quality. A few notes:

    1. This shirt jacket doesn't flow air super well like my Villain jacket. It's got the underarm vents which probably work, but it's nothing like the breast pocket vents or back vents on the Villain. I'm sure this is by design, but I can't stress enough that anything above like...90 degrees is too much for this jacket. I'd say that unless you live somewhere with cool summers, it's a spring/fall piece.

    2. You'll look rad as hell wearing this jacket. You can flip the cuffs up and push the sleeves to mid-forearm, but that's about as much as you can get, since there's a panel between sides of the arm zipper. This is a weird and niche point to make, but if you expected a shirt shirt like me, you'll want to know.

    3. This jacket collects lint and fuzz and hair and stuff like nobody's business. It might be the fabric, it might be some kind of experimental electric armor field, but just keep your lint roller handy.

    4. Armor fits great inside the jacket and doesn't make it noticeably bulkier or bulgier. BYOBulge.

    5. The zipper can be a little finicky at first, but I imagine it might find its path sooner or later.

I can't wait for the weather to cool down enough to…
