Love the look, the feel, fits perfectly! An all around great jacket!
Excellent quality. Great fit. Definitely recommend
As the the title states the fit and finish on this jacket is great, but I managed to break it (specifically where it connects to the liner) on the first ride.
I went to pull my arm out out the jacket and tore off the snap on the inside of the sleeve. I don't have crazy huge arms or anything. I am 5'10 and roughly 170lbs. I made sure to measure my chest and waist to get the perfect size before I bought it as well.
Overall I'm still pretty happy with it. It looks and fits great. It's just missing a snap now.
Wow! Great jacket! I have a 42 chest, ordered a medium…perfect fit! Inspected the jacket thoroughly, great quality. Highly recommend.
Xl jacket fit me like it was made for me. Very happy.
Got this jacket about 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. after purchasing a rocker vest last spring, I already knew the quality to expect. This Indy jacket is exactly what I was looking for. The fit is spot on for me and the feel and smell of the leather is exactly what I was looking for. Quality of this jacket is second to none This is a mid weight jacket with good ventilation but can be locked down when it gets cold in the Fall evening. Perfect for riding in NC. Looks great on the bike and at the bar. Don't think twice just get it!
5'9 155lbs, 40 inch chest and sizing chart had me pegged at the bottom end of a small. I can tell you right now a small would have been skin tight. I ended up going with a medium and I can feel the tightness in the chest and shoulders with just a t-shirt on. Any armor inserts combined with a heavier shirt will push this jacket to the very limit for sizing on me. Order your shirt size and don't look back. Sizing issues aside the antique brown is quiet a bit darker than the images. It's almost a dark chocolate brown with distressing as opposed to the more milk chocolate color in the images. The leather is soft and over all the jacket looks well made. Unfortunately it's 95+ here so no wearing it on a bike. I feel comfortable using it as protection in the event of a slide.
First Mfg. jackets are known for great quality leather, and this jacket is no exception. The Indy Jacket has a classic design that looks great off the bike and functions well on the bike. My jacket has broken in nicely over time and is now very soft and comfortable. The color is a dark grayish-brown and has a nice vintage look. The First Mfg. website describes and lists all the jacket's features, so I won’t repeat them all here. The interior has non-removable mesh and the concealed carry pockets are pretty big. All the YKK zippers have been very durable. I found this jacket to be a standard American cut – I am 5’10”, 200 lbs., 44” chest and 36” waist. I bought a Large and it fits comfortably but doesn’t leave much room for heavy layers. I would probably have to size up to an XL if I wanted to wear a thick hoodie or heavy layer comfortably. But, I like the Large because at higher speeds, the jacket fits snugly and stays put in the wind. The vents and grommets do allow for some airflow. The jacket doesn’t ride up or bunch up while riding and the banded collar is comfortable and has just the right amount of gap so it doesn’t dig into your neck when zipped all the way up. I wear shirts with a 34” or 35” sleeve length and the sleeves on the Large fit nicely even when reaching for the bars. The jacket does not come with armor, so I ordered the First Manufacturing universal CE-2 elbow and shoulder armor pads separately and they fit in the jacket perfectly. I had a very slow speed…
