The Commuter takes a simple leather jacket and adds some style. Lots of pockets, including conceal carry and armor pockets! This one has the action back for comfort while riding, and an insulated zip out thermal liner in case the temps rise on your ride.

GREAT JACKET! With the liner it's very comfortable, with the armor added it's still comfortable with enough movement in the arms. Should prove to be warmer in the early morning commute as well. Ample pocket space at hips. Bought the brown, witch can be descried as a weathered very dark brown or "antiqued" black. Looks Great all around. Value for money on sale is amazing, and just what I was looking for in a new jacket.
5'10", 175(+/-) lbs.
Slim in the torso, 40.5" chest.
I fall between a M-L most of the time.
If it fits small, I go L.
If it fits large, I go M.
I bought the S, and it fits me very well with both liner and armor.
If I need to layer more, long sleeve shirt with/without undershirt should be ok, that's about it though.

Great all around jacket. I own several First Mfg products and they are all quality. I am 5'9" and about 225 and ordered a large. First nice and snug, but not tight. I was able to get a sweatshirt on underneath, but kinda felt like the marshmallow man. I tested it on a ride in the low 40' and with the liner and sweatshirt I had no issues, probably could have done without the sweatshirt.

Before I bought this jacket I had not heard of First Manufacturing Company, so I first did some reading to learn more about the company's reputation and the quality of the products. Although most reviews were positive, I did find some poor reviews that cautioned about the customer service and issues with poor quality, but on the strength of the reviews on this site and elsewhere I went ahead with the order. I'm very glad I did, as my experience was excellent and the jacket is very nice.
I am a 5'10" 175 lbs male, and originally ordered the medium based on the size chart. It was too big so I had to exchange it for the small. The small fits perfectly, with or without the armor (sold separately) or the insulated liner (comes with). Exchanging the product was perfectly straightforward and the replacement arrived soon after. The quality is excellent and it looks very sharp.
If you're on the fence about ordering, I say go for it. The product cannot be beat for the price, and is a fine garment at any price.
