Product arrived promptly as promised. Upon opening, I was surprised at the quality of the leather, not the cheap bonded leather but the real deal, soft and supple. I wore them for the first time last weekend and they performed as I hoped. Didn’t fall down like people told me they would. Maybe my fat calves help. They have a heavy duty zipper and Velcro strap that keeps them in place. They take up almost no space in the bags so I’ll carry them from now on. Not necessarily a replacement for chaps but I’ll probably wear them more due to the ease of putting them on

I like the product and had purchased a set for those blustery days when I didn't want to go full chaps. We recently did a 17-day, 4300-mile trip to Sturgis and Yellowstone from SoCal and one of our riders was experience serious heat issues from her bike to the point that she was going to drop out. I gifted her my set of Half Chaps and she was able to continue and enjoy the rest of the adventure with no more issues.
Recently ordered a replacement pair as I think they are great!
And I tell people I got them half off! and they say yeah, the top half :-)

Great design, quality materials, comfortable, added layer of protection from gravel and insects, and it's much easier to wipe bugs off of these than to get the stains out of your jeans, if that's an issue for you.
