Fairfax V2 Men's Motorcycle Canvas Vest

This vest came in and I was so excited I tried it on immediately, and boy was i a little disappointed....it was too big! My bad, I ordered a medium for my 5'8" 160 lb frame and when i sat down in it, the shoulders came up to my ears lol! I mean, i know its stiff because its made with this incredibly tough feeling canvas. Comparing a denim vest (think jean jacket) to this canvas one is like comparing your favorite pair of comfortable jeans to an army tent. Its nice! Its also a little stiff due to the hidden pockets "compartment". All this being said, I definitely wanted this vest to fit so I ordered a small and it fits waaaay better. Im giving 4 out of 5 stars not because of sizing issues, but because it lacks two features Ive come to appreciate, though one can be solved. This vest has a zipper and snap buttons so you have options on closing it up. I like when jackets/vests have the kind of zipper that can also be zipped open from the bottom, so as to give slack when seated. This problem is solved by using the snaps insteasd of the zipper and leaving the bottom buttons undone. The other thing is i like having the split option on the bottom of the sides, also for riding comfort. this vest is one piece around the waist, other than the front snaps. No biggie though! I havent put maptches on yet, but the entire liner has a nice tucked away zipper that grants easy access to the back and front for easy sewing, without sewing the liner to it as well...
