Turbine Men's Motorcycle Perforated Leather Jacket

I absolutely love this jacket. Took it for a spin in sunny 80* weather the other day here in Houston and the air flow was amazing. I haven’t been able to find a full leather perforated anywhere else even for more $. They’re usually part leather/mesh. I have found one little potential issue, the thread along the zipper where the zipper is sewn in has a part of the thread already coming undone. Doesn’t seem like a big deal yet but I’m keeping an eye on it.

Fit? I usually wear lg jackets but got this in med per recommendations and it’s perfect!

Recommend following the sizing recommendations. I find myself quite often between sizes (M-L) in most jackets and shirts. I ordered a Small in this jacket. The jacket fits close to a sport slim fit found in other jackets like Alpinestars. At first, I thought the jacket was too small, but it is not, because it is all leather and it will stretch to fit perfectly. I like a form fitting jacket. I have worn it one time so far on a ride and I am 100% satisfied with fit and comfort. The arms have a little more room than is found on some of the aforementioned manufacturer products, which I appreciate. This jacket, with its 100% perforation over the entire carcass, is exactly what I was looking for. Living in Northern CA, we experience many good riding months, but it is often very hot in excess of 95 degrees. This jacket will be perfect on those hot days. I also fitted the jacket with soft armor in elbows, shoulders, and back; still a great fit. This jacket affords you the opportunity to have the protection you need and not have to sacrifice on comfort. Lastly, the value is good too. Price does not break the bank, and construction and material seem to be on par with other higher priced jackets. Time will tell how it holds up, but I'm optimistic at this point.

This is my 2nd jacket from First Mfg. I already own a partially perforated leather jacket from Merlin, but I was looking for a leather jacket with full venting for the hotter Nevada summers. I do prefer leather to mesh given comparable performance. This jacket is lighter in weight but does not feel like it will fail during a slide. It is robust enough and vents well. I will be curious to see if it will hold up to near triple digit temps this summer, or if it will have me swapping for my mesh jackets. Either way, I will find plenty of use for this jacket. I ordered the level 2 shoulder/elbow armor from First Mfg as well. Soft, pliable, and not intrusive at all for level 2.
