Definitely soft leather and super comfortable. Even with full armor, this jacket fits nice and slim. I barely notice the armor on my shoulders and elbows. Size medium is a bit on the snug side, but large would be too big. If I shed a couple lbs, this will fit even better. 185lbs; 5’9

This jacket has a nice soft leather feel and the quality stands out. At 6' 0' and 195lbs the XL is a perfect fit. The elastic bands on the wrist and bottom are comfortable with the right amount of stretch. I bought this for every day because I prefer textile MC jackets but for spring and summer this can work. It has pockets for armor. This jacket became an immediate favorite and the price was killer for such a beautiful piece.
