I’m a new rider and this is my first riding jacket. Safe to say I’m in love with it! I typically wear a medium in regular jackets, so I went a size up. The shoulders are a but tight but that’s only because I added shoulder armor. When I just added back armor the jacket was nice and fitted. If you want this to be a jacket you can layer with, go 2 sizes up. Size large was perfect for me since I wanted this to be more fitted.

It's a buttery soft leather, a deep, saturated black. I recommend sizing up for ladies--I am 5' 6" at 127 lbs. and ordered the large. Another jacket I got was a medium and it was still a bit tight across the shoulders, and without layers. This one is much better and I can layer for winter, without it looking baggy. Service is very good and they put on great discount sales.
