Overall, it seems like a really well made vest. Had it for about 2 years and physically it's held up excellent. When I first received it, the fit was a little more snug than I was imagining. I followed their size chart and keeping in mind they say the "Lowside" cut is about a half size down. I went 1 size up above my normal t-shirt, and it's still snug. I can't wear anything beside a t-shirt under it, too tight to allow even a hoodie, let alone a jacket. If you want to wear anything under, probably need to be looking 2 sizes up. That said, I do appreciate the shorter length- at only 5-7, the regular cut vests are too long when seated on the bike and tend to ride up. Not so with the "Lowside" shorter cut. This vest gets compliments absolutely everywhere, I've never worn anything that gets so much attention.
A slight disappointment is that the red stitching had faded quickly- from initially a vibrant red, to now more of a dull, slightly pinkish hue. I've ridden probably 30k miles in this vest- it does see sun and wind, but I also would apply a conditioner to the leather every couple months. The leather still looks and feels great, but the stitch color has faded nonetheless, and in a relatively short amount of time.
When these restock (they do, although not that often), I'll probably consider getting another one (this time an XL- although otherwise I never wear XL anything- usually M, sometimes L), and looking into UV resistant products that can be applied to hopefully…
