I measured my hand around the widest part as suggested in the size chart and was exactly at 7 inches, which would correspond with a size medium. Once they arrived, they were a little snug, enough to be uncomfortable. Since I know leather stretches a little to fit the wearer, I decided to keep them. On a sunny day, I dampened them with a wet towel and went out for a 100 mile ride. That did the trick and they stretched just enough to give me a perfect fit. I now have ridden about 500 miles with them and they are my new favorite pair of gloves! Super comfortable and easy to use my phone with the gloves on. Pictures are of me wearing them after about 500 miles of use.
