These pads are seriously heavy duty! I bought them to go into the Spartan Flannel shirt. The back pad made the shirt a bit too tight for me. I put a thinner back pad in, and it fixed that issue. These pads definitely offer better protection than the CE-1 pads. They'd be great for a jacket!
