Not sure about impact resistance, very sponge like. I hope I never have to find out that they work, but its a bit of peace of mind to use them.

Ordered these as optional armor for my custom built jacket. Always good to have the option to add armor. Everything was as advertised, only issue was a slight tear/cut on the edge of one of the forearm pads. Does not affect the functionality at all, amd cannot be seen when installed.. Overall, like everything else from 1st, I am happy with what I received.
