    Our Lifetime Warranty protects you against manufacturing defects for as long as your product exists. Here's what we've got your back on:

    All genuine leather on jackets, vests, chaps, gloves, and other leather goods

    Important Note on Non-Leather Materials:

    Products made with canvas, denim, twill, or mesh fabrics are not covered for material defects, but the hardware on these items is still protected under this warranty.

    What's Not Covered

    We build our products tough, but they're not indestructible. This warranty doesn't cover:

    Normal Wear & Aging

    •  Natural leather fading or color changes

    •  Creasing and patina development

    •  Minor surface scuffs from regular use

    Damage from Use or Accidents

    •  Cuts, tears, or punctures

    •  Burns or heat damage

    •  Crash or impact damage

    •  Pet damage (scratches, bites, chewing)

    Modifications & Alterations

    •  Patches applied after purchase (see below)

    •  Customer-added hardware or embellishments

    •  Tailoring or alterations done outside First MFG Co

    •  Dyeing or chemical treatments

    Improper Care

    •  Machine washing

    •  Damage from harsh chemicals or cleaners

    •  Mold or mildew from improper storage

    •  Over-soaking or water damage from neglect

    The Patch Policy - Please Read Carefully

    Once you apply patches to your product, it can no longer be returned, exchanged, or submitted for warranty repair.

    Here's why: Removing patches damages the leather and stitching, making it impossible for us to properly assess manufacturing defects or perform quality repairs.

    This applies to:

    •  Iron-on patches

    •  Sewn-on patches

    •  Adhesive patches

    •  Any permanent decorations added after purchase

    Plan ahead: If you're considering patches, make sure your product fits perfectly and meets your expectations first.

    How to Keep Your Warranty Valid

    Leather is incredibly durable when treated right. Follow these care guidelines to keep your warranty active and your gear looking great:

    DO:

    •  Clean with leather-specific products

    •  Condition regularly to maintain suppleness and shine

    •  Spot clean stains with a damp cloth and mild soap

    •  For deep cleaning: briefly soak in lukewarm water, then air dry (don't over-soak)

    •  Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

    DON'T:

    •  Machine wash or dry

    •  Use harsh chemicals, bleach, or household cleaners

    •  Leave soaking for extended periods

    •  Expose to extreme heat sources

    •  Store in damp or humid conditions

    How to File a Warranty Claim

    We've made the process simple. Here's how it works:

    Step 1: Contact Us

    Step 2: Send Photos

    Our team will assess the damage based on the photos you provide via email. Make sure images clearly show:

    •  The problem area (close-up)

    •  Full view of the product

    •  Any tags or labels still attached

    Step 3: Get Approval

    We'll review your claim and respond as quickly as possible (usually within 1-2 business days) with:

    •  Approval for repair or replacement

    •  Shipping instructions

    •   What to expect next

    Step 4: Ship Your Item

    If approved:

    •  You cover shipping costs to us

    •  We cover return shipping costs back to you

    •  Pack securely and use a trackable shipping method

    Step 5: We Handle the Rest

    Depending on the issue, we'll:

    • Repair the defect and return your original product

    • Replace with the same item if repair isn't possible

    • Rebuild a custom product to original specifications

    • Offer an equal-value alternative if your original item is discontinued

    Warning: If you have placed patches on your product, you cannot send it back for a refund or exchange. For both stock and custom products.

    Since 1987, First Manufacturing has been building motorcycle gear for riders who expect quality. We stand behind every jacket, vest, and piece of leather that leaves our facility. If something isn't right, we'll make it right for you!

    You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange. Items must be unworn, in original packaging, with all tags attached.

    Start Your Return

    How Returns & Exchanges Work

    Getting started takes less than two minutes; here is how it works:

    1. Submit your request:  Use our online return portal and fill in your order details

    2. Receive your RA number We'll email you a Return Authorization number and shipping address

    3. Ship your item:  Send the product back to us (you cover return shipping)

    4. We handle the rest: Once received, we process your return or ship your exchange within 7 business days

    We pay shipping costs when sending your new item or replacement back to you.

    Exchanges

    Need a different size or colour? No problem.

    Ship the original item back to us, and we'll send out your replacement once we receive and inspect it. Ensure the product has its label and is in original packaging. You cover the cost of shipping the item to us, and we cover the cost of shipping the new one to you.

    Refunds

    Changed your mind? We get you right there.

    Once we receive and inspect your returned item, you can claim your refund, and please note that it is offered in  Store credit  form. You can  use it anytime; it has no expiration

    Refunds typically process within 5-7 business days after we receive your return.

    Damaged or Defective Items

    Received something damaged or not what you ordered? That's on us.

    Here's what happens:

    1. Contact us:  Reach out via phone at (800) 537-3030  , email us at orders@firstmfg.com , or live chat us.

    2. We issue a prepaid return label:  No cost to you

    3. You choose: Want a replacement or a refund? You choose it.

    We don't make you jump through hoops when the mistake is ours. Reach out, and we'll sort it out fast to make you happy with your leather gear.

    International Returns

    We ship worldwide, but return logistics work a bit differently for international orders.

    •  You're responsible for return shipping costs and any duties or customs fees for sending back the product to us. While we will cover the shipping cost when sending back the replacement.

    • All other policies remain the same,  30-day window, original packaging, and tags attached.

    •  Once we receive and process your return, we'll issue your refund in the form of store credits or send your exchange

    Custom Orders

    Every custom jacket and vest is handmade specifically for you. Because of this, custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged.

    We know that sounds strict, but here's why it matters:  your custom piece is built to your exact specifications. It can't be resold or remade for someone else.

    That's why we encourage you to:

    • Double-check your measurements using our  Size Guide Video

    • Contact us at (800) 537-3030  if you're between sizes or unsure about fit

    •  Review your order details carefully before submitting

     You might be still thinking, What if something's wrong with my custom order?

     Don’t worry, we have covered you. If you receive a custom item with a defect or incorrect measurements, you have 7 working days from delivery to report the issue. Contact us immediately and we'll work with you to resolve it. 

    Please note that after 7 days, we're unable to accept claims or rebuild the item.

    Promotional Items & Gifts   

    Items received as part of a bundle deal, special promotion, or free gift are non-refundable.

    These items can be exchanged for a different size or colour when available, but no cash or credit refunds will be issued.

    Store Credit

    Do you want flexibility for future purchases? Store credit might be the best option for you.

    When processing your return, you can choose store credit. This credit is applied to your account and never expires.

    Lifetime Warranty on Leather

    Here's something most brands don't offer.

    All leather items from First Manufacturing come with a Lifetime Warranty. If your jacket, vest, or leather accessory is defective or damaged due to manufacturing issues, we'll take care of it for you. Please note that if you have placed any patches on them, they won’t be eligible for this option.

    This warranty has covered riders since 1987,  and it's not going anywhere. It’s always here for you!
